What caused controversy in Ganga and Saraswati

What caused controversy in Ganga and Saraswati.

In the scriptures and the Puranas, Saraswati has been called the goddess of knowledge.  This goddess of knowledge once did something that no one could even imagine.
Due to that one mistake, Goddess Saraswati got such a curse that she become river had to descend on the earth.  The result of this curse was that  maa Ganga also became a river and Goddess Lakshmi became the beloved Vrinda i.e. the basil plant.

The desire to write any specific information on Goddess Saraswati was arising in my mind for a long time.  So today I will tell you about a dispute between Goddess Saraswati and Goddess Ganga.  This story is found in some mythological texts.  According to the story, Lord Vishnu had three wives - Lakshmi, Ganga and Saraswati. The trio always use to tried to keep Narayan happy so that they could get his special love.  Goddess Lakshmi and Mother Saraswati became jealous once upon seeing Srihari's greater love for Goddess Ganga.  On this Lakshmi ji did not say anything, but Saraswati ji told lot of maledictory to Lord Vishnu for this bias.
Lakshmi maa tried to stop her, but due to anger she continued to reproach Narayan the same way.  She also called Goddess Ganga as a misogynist.  Fed up with this quarrel, Lord Vishnu went out of Vaikuntha for some time. Saraswati felt very sad to see Narayan going out like this, but she also understood the reason for this activity to Goddess Ganga.  In the same anger, she was ready to hit the Ganges.
Seeing this sin, Lakshmi could not stay away from this matter and she came in between them.  She tried to calm them down by explaining both.  Goddess Ganga calmed down due to this, but the anger of Saraswati increased further.
Thus, due to coming in the middle, she got angry and cursed Lakshmi to become a tree.  Goddess Lakshmi immediately turned into a basil plant due to the curse of Saraswati.  Seeing innocent Lakshmi being cursed in such a way, now Ganga was also angry.  She cursed Saraswati to become a river and flow on the earth.  Unhappy with this, Saraswati also cursed Ganga to become a river and carry the ash & bones of humans.
When Lord Vishnu came back, he came to know about the curse of Saraswati and Ganga.  At the same time, seeing Lakshmi transformed into a plant, he felt immense sorrow.  Due to the calm nature and well-being of Goddess Lakshmi, he thought it appropriate to keep her with her as his wife. Thinking that such a situation could come back, he decided to sacrifice Goddess Ganga and Goddess Saraswati.  When both came to know of this, they apologized to Lord Vishnu. Then Srihari said that the Ganges will descend on the earth to wash away the sins of humans.  At the same time, she will stay in his feet as partially, in the kamandal of the Shree Brahma and also in the jatas of Mahadev.  Saraswati will also flow with her on the earth and will also live with him as a partially. Only Goddess Lakshmi will live in Baikunth, becoming his wife completely.  Along with this, he also took the form of Shaligram and marry the Tulsi form of Goddess Lakshmi.  It is said that Ganga and Saraswati have been flowing on the earth as a river due to each other's curse since then. Goddess Saraswati's curse has ended, that is why she has returned to her abode and Goddess Ganga will also be completely disappeared by completing her curse by the end of Kali Yuga.  But even today, the confluence of Ganga and Saraswati can be seen in Prayag.
This story can be read in detail in Brahmavaivart Purana and Devi Bhagavata Purana.

Kedarnath: All sins are destroyed by seeing Lord Narayana.

Kedarnath: All sins are destroyed by seeing Lord Narayana.
Kedarnath: After seeing the Kedareshwar Jyotirlinga, all the sins of human beings are destroyed by having darshan of Lord Nara-Narayana.
The Himalayas have been a place of asceticism for sages and deities for centuries.  Great personalities gained spiritual power by doing penance here and increased the pride of India in the world.  Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri are famous in the name of Chardham in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand state. These shrines are precious gems shining in the head-crown of the country.  Among them, the darshan of Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines is of special importance.  In relation to the Kedarnath Darshan coming in Dwadash (Twelve) Jyotirlinga in Kedarkhand, it is written that if a person travels to Badrinath region without seeing Kedarnath God, then his journey becomes fruitless ie futile -
अकृत्वा दर्शनं वैश्वय केदारस्याघनाशिन:।
यो गच्छेद् बदरीं तस्य यात्रा निष्फलतां व्रजेत्।।
The temple of Shri Kedarnath ji is situated on the peak named 'Kedar' of Mount Himalayas.  The holy shrine of Lord Badri Vishal is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River flowing in the east direction of this peak and Lord Shree Kedarnath sits on the banks of the holy  Mandakini River in the west.
Alaknanda and Mandakini are the sacred confluence of both those rivers at Rudraprayag and from there they form a stream and then join the 'Bhagirathi-Ganga' at Devprayag.  In Devprayag, Ganga comes out from the holy shrine 'Gangotri' of Uttarakhand. After Devprayag, the existence of Alaknanda and Mandakini merges into the Ganges and there, for the first time, Ganga flow on the flat earth of Haridwar.  After seeing Lord Kedareshwar Jyotirlinga, all the sins of human beings are destroyed by seeing Lord Nara-Narayan in Badri region.  And he also gets salvation.  The same intention is also expressed in the Koti Rudra Samhita of Shiva Purana-
The ancient temple of Kedareshwar (Kedarnath) Jyotirlinga was built by the Pandavas, which is situated at a height of 11750 feet of the mountain.  According to mythological evidence, 'Kedar' is the back part (part) of Mahish ie buffalo.
The height of the Kedarnath temple is 80 feet, which stands on a huge square platform.  Brown stones have been used in the construction of this temple.  The biggest surprise is that in the ancient times, how would this magnificent temple have been established by bringing those huge stones to such an inaccessible site in the absence of mechanical means?  This grand temple is a living proof of the devotion of the Pandavas to Shiva, their strong will and their muscle power.
Story in Shiva Purana
There are two incarnations of Lord Vishnu called Nara and Narayana.  Both Nara and Narayan had done great penance at Badarikashram in the holy Himalayas.  They prayed to Lord Shiva to make a Shiva lingam of the Parthiv (soil) reverentially and devoutly dwell therein. When Shiva was present in the Parthiva linga, both (Nara and Narayan) worshiped him with reverange.  Constantly worshiping Shiva daily and being immersed in his meditation was the restrained routine of those ascetics. Satisfied with their worship after a long time, God Shankar said that I am very happy with both of you, so you ask for boon to me.  Pleased to hear Lord Shankar's talk, Nara and Narayan said with the feeling of public welfare - 'Deveshwar!  If you are happy and want to give us boon, then you can stay here forever to accept worship in your form. ' Lord Shankar, who took care of the world, accepted the request of those two ascetic-brothers and located himself as Jyotirlinga in Kedartirtha in the Himalayas.  Worshiped by those two unique devotees, Lord Shiva, known as Kedareshwar Mahadev, is always present there, in order to destroy all fear and sorrow and to wish to give his darshan to devotees.
The person who visits Badrivan and sees Nara and Narayan and Kedareshwar Shiva, of course he becomes eligible of salvation.
Greatness of Kedar region in Skanda Purana
This Kedar region is very dear to Lord Shankar, irrigated by the rivers Mandakini, Ganga, Madhuganga, Ksheer Ganga, and beautified by hundreds of Shivalingas and covered with icebergs.  According to the story of Skanda Purana, when Maa Parvati asked the glory of Kedar region, Lord Shiva told her that he never leave it due to this area being more dear. He told Parvati ji that since I took the form of Brahmaji for the work of creation, I have always resided in this area .  Nandi, Bhringi etc. stand as guards (gatekeepers) at the entrance of this area. The human who contemplates this Kedar Yatra while staying at his residence, makes a program for it, his three hundred generations of ancestors get residence in Shiva lok. If a person, who is devoted to me with mind, speech and deeds, sees Shri Kedarnath ji, then even if he has committed a sin similar to the Brahmhatya, all of them are destroyed from only seen. Just like Lord Vishnu among the Gods, the sea in the lake, the Ganges in the rivers, the Himalayas in the mountains, Narada among the devotees, Kamadhenu in the cows and Kailash among all the Puris, the Kedar region is the best in all the regions.
 Story of Skanda Purana
Thus rejoicing in the glory of Kedar region, Lord Shankar told a story to Mata Gauri.  He said that there lived a violent 'fowler' in a village. He loved the meat of antelope and being a non-vegetarian, he used to commit a lot of misconduct. He used to hunt antelope and make them his diet.  One day he reached Kedartirtha in connection with the hunt. As he was wandering through the dense forests on the mountains in search of prey, he saw Muni Narada, he considered him a golden deer, as he was looking at him from far away. He climb an arrow on his bow.  By the time he set out to kill the sage Narada with the arrow, the sunset had gone.
At that time, the fowler saw there that a snake had swallowed the frog, but the dead frog became in the form of Shiva.  When he went a little farther, he saw that the tiger killed the deer, but the deer is going to the Shivloka with the Shiva Ganas. Seeing all these scenes, Fowler was confused and amazed.  In the meantime, sage Narada ji reached that fowler.  Seeing Narada coming to him in human form, that hunter expressed his desire to know from him in relation to the above events. Narada Muni told him that you are very fortunate to be present in this supreme holy pilgrimage.  As you have seen, even the living beings in this auspicious pilgrimage have attained Shivatattva while you looking this events.
After that the fowler (hunter) bowed in utter surprise and bowed down at the feet of Munishreshtha Narada.  He pleaded with Narada ji for his salvation.  Narada Ji preached and instructed him in relation to Lord Shiva.  According to his teachings, the hunter became a resident of the same Kedar region and he was immersed in the hymns of the Lord Kedareshwara.  By doing devotion to Kedarnath, the hunter who committed extreme violence, finally attained the ultimate state (Mukti).
In Skanda Purana, a different story of Lord Shiva in the form of Mahish(Buffalo) mentioned .  In the Kedar region, Devraj Indra did the penance of Lord Shankar.  In that time, the great demon Hiranyaksha was born. That monster defeated Indra, the king of the gods in battle, and asserted his authority over heaven.  The defeated Indra worshiped Devadheeva Mahadev along with the gods.  Ashutosh Lord Shiva was pleased with his penance.
He took the form of Mahisha (buffalo) one day and out from the earth in front of Indra.  He said- 'Devendra!  tell me .... who is your enemy....I will kill them all. When asked by Lord Shiva, Indra told the name of five demons including Hiranyaksha.  Bholenath went to the place  where of those powerful five demons were staying told by Indra.
There were also other fierce mighty companions of those demons.  All of them ran towards Shiva in the form of buffalo with weapons and arms, which Mahadev ji with his horns dipped in water and sent them into the Yamlok. He then asked Indra to ask for the boon.  Indra prayed to Pinakdhari Shiva and said that you should always stay in this area to protect dharma and all the three worlds.  Lord Shiva accepted Indra's request .

Know why and who wiped out the existence of Kshatriyas twenty-one times?

Know why and who wiped out the existence of Kshatriyas twenty-one times?
Once upon a time, all the differences between the gods and the demons had ended.  At that time, the rule of the Kshatriyas was on earth, the arrogant Kshatriya kings were becoming autocratic in terms of power and strength .  At that time, the rule of the cruel ruler named Sashtrabahu was prevalent about him that he also defeated Lankapati Ravana.
Sashtrabahu was touring the state with his entire convoy one day only when he saw the sage Vashishta's ashram on the way.  On reaching near the ashram, he does not know what happened to him, he thought without thinking and filled the entire ashram with water without any reason.
When the sage saw this, he asked him the reason for doing so, instead of answering, Sashtrabahu laughed shamelessly.  Enraged at this, the sage Vashishth scolded him, on which he arrogantly replied that O weak Brahmin if I want to destroy you , I can kill you right now. In anger, the sage Vashistha cursed Sashatrabahu that only a Brahmin will destroy your pride.
Sashtrabahu received a boon from Lord Dattatreya that during the war he would get thousands of hands and because of this he was named Sahastrabahu.  Because of the curse of Maharishi Vashishta, the destruction of him and his entire clan was certain and Parashurama was the Bahubali Brahmin in whose hands this work was to be done.
Parashurama was the son of sages Jamadagni and devi Renuka.  Parshuram had receive  many blessings from Lord Shiva, in which knowledge of the Ashtra -Shastra and all the Vedas was prominent, as well as the power to go anywhere at the speed of mind.
Once Sahastrabahu asked Kamdhenu from sage Jamadagni, on this, the sage said that this cow is the cow of the Shaptrishis and they have got the opportunity to serve it for a few days.  On hearing this, Sahastrabahu became mad with anger and forcefully walked towards his palace with Kamadhenu.
But when Parashurama came to know about this, he stopped Sahastrabahu on the way and asked him to give the cow back.  Sahastrabahu said that you are my subjects and the king has the right over everything of the subjects, if you have the courage, fight with me and win and take back the cow.
Parashurama had a boon from Lord Shiva that no Kshatriya would beat him.  In a fierce battle with Sahastrabahu and his ten thousand sons, Parashuram cut off thousands of arms of Sahastrabahu and most of his sons were also killed.
After this  he left Kamadhenu in to the ashram and went on pilgrimage himself.  Seeing the appropriate opportunity, the remaining Kshatriyas cut the head of sage Jamdagni and also tortured devi Renuka.
When devi Renuka made a voice to Parashurama, Parashurama arrived with the help of speed of mind, know about all things and vowed that he would destroy all the Kshatriyas from the earth.  After this, he had destroyed the Kshatriyas twenty-one times on earth.
Parashurama performed a yajna at Kurukshetra to revive his father and consequently sage Jamdagni was revived and joined the Saptarishis.
The basic source of the concept of divine incarnation is the need of the universe, the age of creation. Param shakti God does not appear on the earth without purpose. He has a definite purpose, whose fulfillment and age is only for the salvation and welfare of the creature. All the incarnations described are due to the reason of their arrival on earth, due to which they have to come and complete their work and then become merged with his vast form.
The ultimate God here-there, it is everywhere.  The soul is part of the same God, Lord Parashurama is the sixth incarnation of Vishnu.  The purpose of his incarnation was the establishment of a popular governance and governance system. But even after fulfilling this purpose, he is the only incarnation who did not leave the earth and was entrusted with the bow of Lord Vishnu to fulfill his incarnation obligations to his later incarnation Lord Sri Rama.

Story Of Kubja's Previous Birth

Story of Kubja's previous birth

In Indian mythological texts, Kubja is one such character whose interesting and surprising stories are found in relation to births.  In the eleventh chapter of Garga Samhita, there is a story of King Bahulashv.
Once, while listening to the story from Narada Muni, Bahulashv asked him, “Muniver.  That Sairandhri Kubja had done which type of  hard penance in her former life, as a result of which the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna pleased upon her.
Because his less happiness is also rare for the gods?  On this, Devrishi Narada told him that it was a long time ago.  In the Treta Yuga, when Surpnakha saw Lord Rama in the Panchavati, seeing his attractive human form, she became enamored with facinated by her heart.
But she saw that Rama's affection is not going on her at all, while Suparnakha was wandering as a very lavanayamayi( beautiful) at that time.  She noted that Ram was extremely disgusted and no interest  upon seeing her and his only affection was towards Bhagwati Sita ji.
Due to seeing this scene , Surpnakha burning in this jealousy, rushed towards her to eat Sita ji, but Lakshman ji was alert.  He (Laxman ji) also immediately cut off his nose and ears.  Laxman ji wanted to kill her but Lord Rama forbade him to do so, he only asked Laxman ji to punish her and as a result Laxman ji cut off the nose and ears of that Surpnakha.
Disgusted by her insults, Surpnakha, burning in anger, came to her brother Ravana and prayed to Ravana to kidnap Sita.  When Ravana kidnapped Sita ji, she once again found Rama Lakshmana alone in the forest and came to pray (to Lord Rama) to marry her.
But even this time her wish was not fulfilled.  Now she was completely disappointed.  In the end, when Ravana was killed and also Rama without sita did not interested by her beauty, she was sadded and disappointed, she remained in the Pushkar region, meditating on the form of Lord Shiva and started penace.
In the end, when the Lord Mahadeva appeared and asked her to ask for boon, she wished Rama as her husband.  On this, Lord Shankar gave her the boon of getting him from Krishna form in the future i.e. Dwapara Yuga.  The same Suparnakha became Kubja in Dwapara.
She was born in Mathura as Kubja, a demon named Surpnakha, who had the ability to change the form according to her desire and she became beloved of Krishna only by the boon of Devadhidev Mahadev.

The story of Kubja is given in Sri Lomash Ramayana in another way.

According to that texts, at the time of Ramavatar, Kaikayi Maid Manthara was Krishna Priya Kubja in Dwapar yuga.  In a summary , the story goes like this: The people of Ayodhya came to know that instead of crowning their beloved Prince Rama, he was being sent for exile for fourteen years. And behind all this,  Kaikeyi's maid Manthara has the hand of this incident , so they all were enraged at the Manthara and those enraged Ayodhya's people asked Shri Lomash ji, “Lord! Why is this manthra opposed to Rama?  Whereas animals, birds, fools, schloar, trees etc. are  lovers of our Rama ”.

To this Lomash ji replied, “Manthara was the granddaughter of Prahlada and daughter of Virochan in the previous birth.  Even in that birth, its name was Manthara. When her younger brother Bali was in his mother's womb,  then the gods plan to cheated Virochan,  gods taking the form of a Brahmin and asked Virochan to donate his entire life to the Brahmins. So Dani(donor) Virochan gave up his body.  After which the demons became destitute.  They went to the shelter of Manthara.  Manthara assured them of defense.  Due to which the demons Shambar, Maya, Baan etc. came out for war, but they lost to the gods.
Then Manthara became fiercely angry at the gods and  in anger she tied all the gods through Nagpasha.  Narada Ji requested  to Lord Narayana for solution to this misfortune of gods  . Lord Vishnu gave immense power to Indra by which Indra not only cut the bond of Nagpasha but with the same power Indra defeated Manthara and made her unconscious.
Due to the influence of that divine power, Manthara's body became crippled, it became Kubja.  The demon women also ridiculed her from behind.  In the next birth after death, she was born in the same form in the Kashmir region and became the maid of Kaikayi to seek vengeance from Lord Vishnu, and she interrupted the establishment of Ram Rajya, due to which she was in infamy the whole world.
Due to her this infamy the lord saved her at the time of Krishnavatar.

The story of Vrishakapi,

The story of Vrishakapi, an incarnation of Lord Shiva and Vishnu.

Hello & Welcome friends.

Lord Shiva and Sri Hari Vishnu both took Anshaavataar in the same body, named Vrishakapi, which is described in the Brahma Purana . The story is described  in Brahma Puraana, Chapter 129 .
According to the story:-
In the ancient time, the king of demons Hiranya son was called Mahashani, whose wife's name was Parajita. One time he attacked heaven and brought Indra captive along with Eravat elephant and brought him to Hades. And after being conquered Indra, Mahashani also attacked Varun to win him, but the wise Varun got his daughter married to Mahashani. Here, all the gods were troubled by the existence of all the three worlds without Indra, and went to the shelter of Shri Hari Vishnu and told all the things, then Shri Hari Vishnu said, O Gods monster Mahashani is impossible  to slaughtered for me .

Saying this, Shri Hari went to Mahashani's father-in-law Varunadev with all the gods, and said that Indra's captivity matter & also said, "O Varunadev take such a step so that Indradev comes back to heaven, after all Mahashani is your son-in-law, he will not avoid your request .
Having obeyed Shri Hari, Varun Dev went to the Daityaraja Mahashani and said, "O demon king, you have taken captive by defeating Indra, because of Indra's absence in heaven, there is turmoil there, so now you free him,  Because if the enemy is defeated and free him after taken capative,  then the king be eligible of great fame.

Then the demon king Mahashani freed Indra along with the Airavat elephant, and said, "Indra, from today you are my father-in-law's disciple, if you misbehave with him, I will capative you again and put you in prison . And smilingly said, "Go go respect my father-in-law Varun Dev forever, Indra came back to heaven, but demorlized by shame and humiliation by the enemy . One day Indra said to his wife "My heart is on fire because of being humiliated by the enemy, now you tell me what to do . Shachi then said, "Swami Daityaraja Mahashani has attained all powers by austerity, so no action is impossible with austerity, so you too can achieve your desired boon by doing austerities to Lord Shiva, by his grace you will sure defeat Mahashani.

Then Indra did very harsh penance of Lord Shiva which lasted for thousands of years, then Lord Shiva appeared and said to Indra "Tell me what you want, then Indra said" O Devadhidev Mahadev, what is hidden from you . You all know for what purpose I am doing your penance, then Shivji said, "O Indra alone I cannot kill your enemy, so you first pleased to Shri Hari Vishnu, only then this work is possible . Then Indra went to the sage Aapastambha on the south bank of Gangaji as told by Lord Shiva and took him along with various mantras and austerities and started the penance of Sri Hari Vishnu.

Pleased with Indra's penance, Shri Vishnu appeared to him and said, Indra tell me what you want, Indra said "Lord give me such a brave warrior, who can kill my enemy monster Mahashani . Then Shri Vishnu said thaastu, then a divine man was born from the water by the Shiva, Gangaji and Vishnu, in which both Shiva's and Lord Vishnu's power were appear .
He had the appearance of both Lord Shiva's and Lord Vishnu's form , he also had a chakra and Trishul in his hand, after that the divine man went to Patalalok and killed the demon king Mahashani, and became famous as Vrishakapi.

Story of enmity with Piplad Rishi and Gods

Story of enmity with Piplad Rishi and Gods
Hello and welcome friends

Everyone knows Maharishi Dadhichi but very few know about his wife Gabhasthini and his son Pippalad, where while Gabhasthini had sacrificed his life by entering Chita(Funeral pyre), Dadhichi's son Pippalad had pledged to kill all the gods.  Know about it in detail…

According to the 1st story: -

When all the gods failed to kill Vritrasura, then all the gods went to Sri Hari Vishnu, and Vishnu Dev sent all the gods to Maharishi Dadhichi . To bring the skeleton of Maharishi Dadhichi so that Vrittasura could be killed by making a Vajra of his bones, then all the gods went to Maharishi Dadhichi according to the order of Shri Hari VishnuAt that time Maharishi Dadhichi's wife had gone to fetch water, meanwhile Maharishi Dadhichi gave up his life and took the structure of his bones, all the gods went to VishwakarmaWhen Maharishi Dadhichi's wife came back to the ashram with water, not seeing her husband, she asked Agnidev where is my husband , then Agnidev told the whole thing about Maharishi Dadhichi's sacrifice . On hearing the news of her husband's death, Gabhistini fainted when she became conscious, decided to enter the funeral pyre with her husband's remaining flesh and skin .
But at the time she was pregnant, Gabhistini ripped her belly and took out the child, and said that this child in my womb is inferior to the parents, there is no brother nor any relative, so the entire world and Lokpal protect it . Saying this, Gabhastini placed the child under the Peepal tree and bowed to the fire and entered the pyre, then all the flora and medicines together took the best nectar from their king Som and fed the child, after drinking the nectar, that child started growing . The  Peepal tree had reared him, so he became famous as Pippalad .

Growing up, he asked the Peepal tree that it is generally seen that humans are produced from humans, animals from animals and birds from birds, but how did I originate from Peepal in human form . On hearing Pippalad's talk, the trees narrated the entire description of his father Dadhichi and his mother's death, which Pippalad was very angry and said, "Whoever is responsible for the death of my father and mother, I will slaughter him," . Piplad, burning with anger, reached Lord Shiva and said, "Lord, give me some power to destroy the enemies .

As soon as Pippalad had said so, a fierce Kruitya like a mare appeared from the eyes of Lord Shiva, who was hiding a fierce fire in her womb for the destruction of entire creatures.
As soon as she was born, she said to Piplad that "Tell me what to do, then Piplad said," All the gods are my enemies, so go eat them, then she ran towards  Devaloka, seeing all the gods got scared and went to the shelter of Mahadeva and asked to protection.
Then Mahadev himself along with all the gods came to Pippalad and said, " Son even if the Gods is destroyed, your parents will not come back. Your father sacrificed his life only for the benefit of the gods and whole world, because of which today all the three worlds and gods are happy, you are the son of him, give the safe-conduct  by giving up anger . Then at the behest of Mahadev, Pippalad granted pardon to all the gods, causing all the gods to ask Piplad to ask for the boon . Then Piplad said that "He never saw his parents, so I want to see them now, then the gods  show Pippalad to Maharishi Dadhichi and his mother Gabhastini .

According to 2nd story:-

The son of sage Dadhichi was named Piplad.  He was also virtuous and ascetic like his father.  He blamed the gods for the death of his father.  These gods were not at all ashamed to ask for his bones from his father for their selfishness.  Therefore, taking vow to destroy the gods, he started the penance of Lord Bholenath.

Pleased with the harsh tenacity of Piplad, God pleased and asked him to ask for boon .  Piplad asked for the boon - 'Lord!  Open your third eye and destroy these selfish gods. ' Lord Bholenath explained to Piplad - 'Son!  You cannot bear the glory of my Rudraparup, so I have appeared before you in a gentle form.  The whole world will be destroyed by this statement of yours.  So ask for some other boon. '

In Piplad's heart was deeply filled with bitterness of gods.  He said - 'Lord!  I am not at all fascinated with this universe run by the gods.  You consume the gods, no matter what happens to them. ”Lord Bholenath smiled softly at Piplad's argue .
He said - 'Son!  I am giving you another opportunity to think.  You see my Rudraparup in your conscience. ”Piplad saw the bright form of God in his heart. From that fierce fire ravaged form, he felt as if his hair was being consumed.  He did not bear it and called Lord Bholenath again.  God stood in front of him smiling.

'Oh God!  I had requested to destroy the gods, you have started to destroy me. ”Piplad said fearfully.  God explained to him affectionately- 'Son!  Destruction starts from one place and becomes widespread . And always starts from where it originates. Son!  Understand that when we want others bad, first one gets their own bad.  Every decision taken in anger proves to be wrong in future.

Your father even gave his life's sacrifice for the welfare of others.  You are his son, you should wish for the good of all, according to your father's glory. ”Piplad's anger was calmed by these soft words of God and he bowed his head at the feet of God and apologized for his activity.
** You must have read both the stories.  In this context, there is another story which is a different form of the first story. When Piplad received the Kruitya from Mahadev ... then he ordered the Kruitya to destroy the gods.  Then Kruitya ran to kill Piplad. Then Piplad got nervous and asked Kruitya the reason for this. Then Kruitya told that every particle has the abode of gods and at this time also I am seeing god in your body so I have to do this . Then Piplad called Mahadev. Mahadev then pacified his anger by telling Piplad the greatness of Maharishi Dadhichi.  Somewhere mentioned Piplad's father name was Maharshi Kaushik .... It is also an interesting story related to Shani Dev. We will discuss it  sometime later.

Lesson:
 1. The evil seekers of others first do their own harm.
 2. Do not make any decisions in anger.

Story of Varaha Avatar

Story of Varaha Avatar

Hello & Welcome friends

Lord Vishnu has taken a total of 24 avatars.  Varaha is the third incarnation after Matsya and Kashyapa.  Varaha means shukar(Boar).  Through this incarnation, the first step of the divine with the human body took place on earth. The face was Shukar(boar), but the body was human.  At that time, a monster named Hiranyaksha captured heaven by his power and took the whole earth under him.  Hiranyaksha means Hiranya means gold and Aksha means eyes.  One whose eyes are fixed on the other's wealth is Hiranyaksha.

यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत ।
अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ।।

This verse of Srimad Bhagavad Gita means that I am born myself when dharma is in dangerous situation  and unrighteousness prevails.  The stories of Lord Vishnu's Dashavatar describe the significance of this verse told by Lord Krishna. The eighth avatar of Vishnu was Shri Krishna himself, his 9th avatar is considered Mahatma Buddha but there are differences on it.  The tenth incarnation is yet to be found, at the end of the Kali Yuga, there are stories of the incarnation of the tenth avatar Kalki.
But here we will talk about Varaha, the third incarnation of Lord Vishnu.  Actually, it is believed that Lord Vishnu incarnated as Varaha, his third incarnation on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad i.e.Bhadon month. Therefore, Shukla Tritiya of this month is also celebrated as Varaha Jayanti. Let us know what was the need for Lord Vishnu to come into Varaha form. Who was it that caused unrighteousness to spread everywhere?

According to the legend, Jai and Vijay, the gatekeepers of Baikuntha Lok, stopped 4 Rishikumaras at the gate while going to Baikuntha Lok, due to which they were cursed that both would have to live being demon on earth for three births. In the first birth, both were born as the sons of Kashyapa and Diti and were called Hiranyakashyap and Hiranyaksha.  Both started harassing the Earthy humans.  The tyranny of Hiranyakashyap and Hiranyaksha was increasing on the earth.  Hiranyaksha started torturing people on performing Yajna ,havana etc.

Two stories related to the story of Varaha Avatar are prevalent in the public mind, the first story is described in chapter 13 of the Bhagavata Purana.

According to the 1St story(Bhagavata Purana)

When the Parampita Brahma was creating the universe, he saw that the earth is submerged in unfathomable water and it is impossible to create the creation without the earth, Brahma ji kept thinking for a long time how to get the earth out of this bottomless water.  Brahma Ji was thinking in such a way that then a Varaha of equal size of thumb came out from his nose hole and stood up in the sky.

In view of Brahma ji, that small Varaha  became huge like an elephant in an instant, which Brahma started thinking that which divine creature has appeared here in this boar form, it came out of my nose but in a moment of the  become equal to the mountain.  This is definitely the leela of Lord Vishnu, Brahma ji was thinking that he started roaring loudly and entered the water very fast. When he was entering in the water, divine light was coming out of his eyes and due to taking the form of a boar, he began to search earth by sniffing .
After reaching the abyss, Varaha incarnation Lord Vishnu saw the earth, then holding the earth on his molar, brought it out of the water, but then mighty Hiranyaksha attacked him there. Due to which the Lord became angry like sharp edge the Chakra and he killed him with his leela like a lion kills an elephant. At that time the whole body of the Lord became red with blood as if he had come to hit a red mound of soil.  And took the earth out from water and set the earth on space.
Then all the Gods and Goddesses including Brahmaji praised and worshiped the Varaha Avatar!

According to the second story: -

There were two demons named Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu who received a boon from Brahmadev that no one could defeat them in the war nor could anyone kill them. After getting boon, both of them started thinking of themselves as immortal. And  they began to understand himself as equivalent to lord Vishnu and in the desire of conquering the three worlds, they went towards Indraloka(Heaven) to do battle. When Indra came to know about this, he left Indraloka(Heaven) and ran away.
When both the demons could not find any in Indralok, Hiranyaksha reached Varun's capital Vibhavari city and said that Varun Dev  you had defeated the demons and performed the Rajsuya Yajna, now you have to defeat me in battle. Come and fight with me, Varun got very angry after hearing about the monster, but he knew the boon of Brahma ji, so  he said calmly that Hiranyaksha you are a great warrior . Therefore, there is no strength in any of the three worlds apart from Lord Vishnu that he can fight with you, so you go to him only, he can calm your longing for war.
After hearing Varuna, Hiranyaksha went to Devarshi Narada and asked where to find Narayana. Devarshi Narada also told Narayana's address and said that O demon king Narayan has taken the form of Varah at this time to remove the earth from the abyss.
Now knowing the address of Narayan, Hiranyaksha also reached the abyss, where he saw Varaha God carrying the earth on his molar. Then that ungodly monster said to Lord Varah, "Hey, wild foolish animal, where are you taking this earth, Brahma Ji has given this earth to us, you lowly animal, you cannot take the earth from here.  You are enemy of demons and monsters , so today you will not be survive  by my hands.
He sometimes called God shameless, sometimes a coward, sometimes cheater, but Lord Varaha smilingly took the earth out of the abyss and set it on top of the sea, while the demon Hiranyaksha was continue uttering abuses to Lord Varaha. Then God said that the  you foolish demon would only say that war would also happen. Hearing this, Hiranyaksha attacked on Lord Vishnu. A fierce war broke out between Lord Varaha and Hiranyaksha. The demon attacked the god with gada(mace )trident and all kinds of divine weapons, using his maya (illusion), sometimes he used to make bones rain, and sometimes the rain of blood , sometimes he would disappear and sometimes he would be appear .
But Lord Vishnu was not distracted, he had destroy all the maya(illusion) of that demon. When Lord Vishnu kept hoaxing that demon for a long time, he kicked one of the demon's face with a strong kick, which caused his eyes to come out and that he was become poweless and fall on Earth like a mountain .After that Lord Varah killed him. As soon as he conquered Hiranyaksha, Lord Varah made a loud roar that caused the three world to tremble.
Happy with the slaughter of Hiranyaksha, all the Gods and Goddesses started showering flowers on Lord Varaha.
This was the story of Varaha Avatar.  There is a description somewhere that Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu were powerful from birth itself.  Both did not do penance of Brahma ji, but after the slaughter of Hiranyaksha, Hiranyakashipu obtained a boon by doing penance of Brahma.  Somewhere there are also descriptions that Hiranyaksha himself hid the earth in the sea so that the creation work is obstructed.  Well, whatever the reason, whenever I will write the story of Varaha Avatar and Narasimha Avatar, I will try to clarify these points.

The Vrishabha Avatar of Lord Shiva was for the slaughter of Lord Vishnu's sons.

The Vrishabha Avatar of Lord Shiva was for the slaughter of Lord Vishnu's sons.

It is said in the religious texts that there are 19 incarnations of Lord Shiva.  Most of the incarnations of Lord Shiva were for the destruction of the demons.  But do you know that Shiva had also taken an avatar to kill the sons of Vishnu and that incarnation was  Vrishabha(Taurus).  Let us know why Lord Shiva had to kill Lord Vishnu's sons.

Who does not know the glory of Bholenath?  There is no limit of the glory of Mahadev, the God of Gods, Shiva killed his own demonic son in order to maintain peace.  Lord Vishnu, Mother Durga and Shiva are always ready to protect the universe. It is also mentioned in the religious texts that whenever the gods and humans called Shiva, he rushed to remove their troubles.  A story is also mentioned  in the Shiva Purana that in order to save the three worlds from the demons, he also killed the sons of Lord Vishnu.

The glory of Lord Bholenath is incomparable.  He is also the destroyer of the universe and he is also the protector.  When the world ends, it is done the by the hands of Shiva.  That is why he is also known as destroyers but this demolition also leads to new creation.  His name is also Shiva because whatever he does, he does for welfare. At different times, Shiva has taken 19 avatar forms for the welfare of the universe.  In which he killed the demons.  In one of his incarnations, he appeared to kill the son of Lord Shri Vishnu.

Now why did he has to do this?  Or how such sons were born to Lord Vishnu that Shiva himself had to take incarnation to kill them?  Let's know

According to the Puranas, gods and demons churned the ocean(Samudramanthan) to produce nectar.  After the churning of the ocean, a nectar urn was appeared .  Vishnu wanted to save it from the eyes of the demons. So he created many Apsaras(nymphs) with his illusion.  As soon as the demons saw the  Apsaras(nymphs), they were fascinated by them and took them with forcely to Patal Lok (Hades). After imprisoning the Apsaras in  Patal lok(Hades), the demons came back with the aim of getting the Amrit Kalash (nectar urn).  But coming back, they saw that already all the deities had consumed nectar. Seeing this, the demons became very angry and they attacked the gods.  But the god had become immortal by drinking nectar.  Hence the demons faced defeat.  They started running towards Patal lok (Hades) to secure themself.

With the intention of killing the demons, Shri Hari Vishnu went after them to Patal and destroyed all the demons there.
After the destruction of the demons, the  Apsaras(nymphs) were freed.
When they saw Vishnu ji, they were fascinated by him and they asked Lord Shiva a boon to Vishnu to become his lord(Husband). Shivji gave the desired blessing to those Apsaras and asked Vishnu to stay in the Patal( Hades) with the Apsaras.

Following the orders of Shiva, Vishnu started living in the Patal Lok with the Apsaras.  He received some sons from the Apsaras.  But all his sons were of the demon nature. On the strength of himself cruelty, these sons of Shri Hari Vishnu created a furore in the three worlds.  All the gods were troubled by their atrocities.  Therefore they went to Lord Shiva and prayed him to kill the sons of Vishnu.

Hearing the prayers of the deities, Lord Shiva took the form of a bull i.e. 'Vrishabh'.  After taking the form of Vrishabh, Shivji reached Patal Lok and there he killed all the sons of Vishnu. When Vishnu reached there, he was very angry to see his lineage destroyed and he attacked Vrishabha but all his blows were fruitless.
Neither of the two had any loss nor any gain even after a long war.  In the end, the Apsaras who tied Sri Hari Vishnu in their boon freed him.  After this incident, when Shri Hari Vishnu realized this incident, he praised Lord Shiva.  At the behest of Lord Shiva, Vishnu left the Patal(Hades) and returned to Vishnulok.

Vishnu ji had to raised Sudarshan Chakra when Shiva did Taandava.

Vishnu ji had to raised Sudarshan Chakra when Shiva did Taandava.

Lord Vishnu is the preserver of this universe  and Lord Shiva is considered the destroyer of the universe.  Both are omnipotent and also devotees of each other.  But do you know that Lord Vishnu once had to raise his Sudarshan  chakra on Lord Shiva when he was doing Tandava. Let's know about that story when Lord Vishnu had to use Sudarshan chakra only on his own god and devotee…
Lord Shiva was married to Goddess Sati, daughter of Prajapati Daksha.  Daksha was the son of Brahma.  After becoming the main king of the whole universe, there was a lot of pride in Daksh.  Daksha did not like his son-in-law, that is, Lord Shiva.

Once Daksha conducted a huge yajna.  In this yajna, Daksha invited all the deities except Lord Shiva and Goddess Sati.  When Goddess Sati came to know of this, she got very angry and even after Lord Shiva refused, she went to the yajna organized by her father.

On reaching there, Goddess Sati asked her father the reason for not to inviting Lord Shiva, then Daksha started speaking abusive words about Lord Shiva.  Goddess Sati could not listen her husband being insulted. Hearing such things against her husband, Goddess Sati felt very sad and sacrificed her life in the fire of yajna there.  When Lord Shiva came to know about this, he was very angry and in anger, he uprooted his jata and hit the ground, which produced Veerabhadra and Mahakali.

Lord Shiva ordered them to destroy the Yajna of Daksha and in a moment they destroyed the entire Yajna of Daksha.  Virabhadra cut off Daksha's head and threw it in the same fire of yajna.
In the disconnection of his wife, Lord Shiva took out the body of Sati from the Agni Kunda and lifted it on his shoulder and began to Taandava with her body and roam in the entire universe. His anger started destroying the whole world.  Then to stop Lord Shiva, Vishnu ji made 51 pieces of the body of Goddess Sati from Sudarshan Chakra.  Shakti Peetha was established wherever the body parts of Goddess Sati fell.
In the next life, Sati was born as Parvati and after severe penance, she again got Shiva as her husband.

The Shiv Purana describes 51 Shakti Peethas.  While 108 Shakti Peethas are described in Devi Bhagwat and 52 in Tantra Chudamani.  After partition, only 42 Shakti Peethas remained in India.  There are 1 in Pakistan, 4 in Bangladesh, 1 in Sri Lanka, 1 in Tibet and 2 in Nepal.
