Story of Jalandhar birth and death .

Story of Jalandhar birth and death .

Once, the gods including Indra wanted to test Lord Shiva.  They arrived at Mount Kailash with Brihaspati, the guru of the gods.  Shiva came to know this matter by own spiritual power. That these gods are coming to take my test. So he took himself as Avadhoot's form and stood in their way.  Indra signaled him to move out of the way.  But Avadhoota's form of Shiva, stood in his place.  Indra got angry after seeing this.  He said - "Hey move out of the my way, you don't know , who am I?"  Go away, otherwise I will tear you into pieces by Vajra.
Avadhuta's form of Shiva got angry after hearing the threat.  He shouted loudly and all four directions trembled.  Guru Brihaspati immediately realized that Avadhoota is none other than he Lord Shiva himself. He hinted at Indra and said- “What are you doing, Surendra!  You are not recognizing Lord Shiva.  This is Lord Shiva. "
Indra realized his mistake.  He immediately fell at the feet of Lord Shiva and asked for forgiveness - "forgive me Lord!  I did mistake to recognize you. "
Guru Brihaspati said- Yes Lord!  Forgive Devendra.  He did not recognize you.  Unknowingly, he called you abusive words. Please forgive him. "
["Accepting the request of Guru Brihaspati,Lord Shiva turned his eyes towards the sea.  And thus Shiva ji forgave Indra.  Then departed back towards Kailash.  Indra and Brihaspati also returned to their place. Mahadev poured his anger into the sea.  It was a place where the sea and the Ganges merge.  Presently it is called Gangasagar.  A child was born from the sea due to Shiva's anger".]
A unique miracle happened a few days after this incident.  On the beach, a boy was lying on the sand and loudly weeping.
Such a devastating weeping was coming from his neck that all four directions started shivering from this.  Gods, demons, monster ,human etc. all panic. The bewildered deity, along with Devraj Indra to reached Pitamah Brahma and said to him - “Pitamah!  At the beach , a wonderful child is crying on the sand. He is crying so loud that there is fear in the gods.  Please remove this crisis . "
Pitamah Brahma, Indra etc. reached to beach with the gods.  Samudradeva(gods of sea) left his place as soon as when Pitamah Brahma ji arrived.  He worshiped Brahmaji along with Indra.  Brahma asked to Samudradeva - "Who is this boy lying on the sand in the water?"  Hearing its cry, the whole world is suffering. "
Samudradeva said - I do not know God!  One day a strong divine energy had came into the sea's water.  This child has originated from that divine energy . "
Saying this, Samudradeva raised the child in his lap and gave it to Brahma's lap.  The child stopped crying as soon as when he came on Brahma's lap, and suddenly the child's arms moved forward, his two arms caught the throat of Brahma. Seeing this, other gods were shocked.  Brahma tried to free his throat but the grip of the child's hands became stronger.  Then suddenly the child left his throat and started smiling.  Brahma said while rubbing his throat - O Sagardeva "What is the name of this child?"
Samudradeva said - "He has not got any name till now. So Pitamah ! You have to give him any name. "
Brahma said - I give him a name Jalandhar.  From today it will be called your son. "

["Jalandhar was married to Vrinda, the daughter of a demon named Kalanemi.  Vrinda was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu.  Then after some years Jalandhar became the ruler of demons.  It is said that the secret of the power of Jalandhar was his pious wife. Due to Vrinda's pativrata dharma(virtous qualities), Jalandhar could not defeated by even the Gods and Goddesses.  Due to which Jalandhar was very proud.  He felt that no one could conquer him.  Jalandhar made many mistakes throughout his life. But his biggest mistake was to disregard Vrinda's pativrata dharma(virtous qualities).  He started torturing the wives of the gods.  Not only the deity, even once he attacked Baikunth and tried to get Lakshmiji also.

Then Laxmi Ji told Jalandhar that both of us originated from water.  That is why we have a relationship between brother and sister. Jalandhar went back from Baikunth after listening to Lakshmi.  After this, he reached Kailash and wanted to subdue Parvati ji. Seeing this, Parvati became enraged and due to this the war between Shiva and Jalandhar started.  But due to the power of Jalandhar, Mahadev failed in every attack."]

Naming the child and handing him over to Samudradeva, all the gods including the Pitamah Brahmaji returned to their respective dhams(abode).  When the child grew up, then on the orders of Pitamah, Acharya Shukra started teaching him. On seeing this, the child became a young .  Shukracharya made him the emperor of the demons and married a girl named Vrinda, who was daughter of a demon named Kalnami. Jalandhar proved himself to be a mighty and great warrior . On seeing this, he established his rule over all the islands of the ocean.  His wife Vrinda cooperated with him in every matter.  Vrinda was a sati(virtous) woman.  She had got the blessing of Lord Vishnu that as long as her satitva(dignity) would be safe, no one would be able to hurt her husband's life.
One day Acharya Shukra visits Jalandhar's court.  Jalandhar worshiped Acharya and seated him on a high seat and asked - “Acharya!  We have a warrior named Rahu.  I want to know why his head is chopped off. "
Acharya Shukra said - “ Demon King!  Rahu was beheaded by Lord Vishnu with his Sudarshan Chakra. "
Jalandhar said - "But why Acharya!  What did Rahu do the fault? ”
In response, Shukracharya told him the whole story of Sagar Manthan(churning of sea) and said - "His crime was that he had fraudly drink Amrit(necter) by sitting in the line of the gods."
Jalandhar said - "So what a crime in this, Acharya!  After all, even the nectar came out, it was only through the combined efforts of the demons and the gods.  Then how did the gods alone become entitled to drink that nectar? "
Shukracharya said - “In this too there was the deceit of Vishnu!  All the gems from the sea were taken by Devraj Indra. "
Hearing this, Jalandhar was angry and said - "I will not let this happen at all." Indra is not to entitled of my father's gems, I himself entitled for this.  The gods have to return the gems of Samudradeva. "
After that Shukracharya went back to his place and Jalandhar summoned a monster named Ghasmar and sent him to Indrapuri to give a message to Indra that he should hand over all the gems received from Sagar Manthan.  Ghasmar reached Indrapuri. He said to Indra - Devraj!  I have come with a message from the demon king Jalandhar.  Daityaraj has said that during the churning of the sea, which gems you had taken from his father , immediately return those gems ”.  Indra said with astonishment - "Gem!  which gem!  Say to the demon king that those gems were the results of the hard work of the gods. "
Ghasmar said - "But both Gods and Demon had worked hard.  Then how did the gems become part of gods alone?  Return the gems in a straight way or else the result will be terrible. ”
Hearing this, Indra said indignantly - "Your courage so much, threaten me in my Puri(city)."  Wait sinner, I make punish you  right now. "
Saying this, Indra took out his Vajra but then Acharya Brihaspati stopped him and said while explaining to him - "Don't come in anger, Surraj!  He is messenger and messenger is not deserving death . So forgive him. "
Ghasmar came back to Jalandhar and told him the answer given by Indra.  Hearing this, Jalandhar became angry.  He immediately sent message to the demons located in all four directions to immediately attack Indrapuri.  Along with his generals he attacked on Indraloka. Soon the army of demons reached the Nandanvan of Indra and the soldiers started fighting with the gods.  Groups of demons began to destroy and damage Amaravati.  The dead bodies of the soldiers on both sides started falling on the ground.
Both Acharya Brihaspati and Shukracharya own sides started treating the wounded and dead soldiers on behalf of gods and demons and they resurrected and started fighting.  The war was continuing on. But neither side was able to win.  On this Jalandhar got angry and reached Shukracharya and said, "Gurudev!  Only you know Sanjeevani Vidya, then how are these gods living after death ? "
Shukracharya said - "Demons king!  Acharya Brihaspati also knows how to use Sanjeevani Booti(herb).  He has put many gods on this task so that they keep bringing Sanjeevani herbs from Dronagiri.  If somehow the gods stop bringing the booti from Dronagiri, then Acharya Brihaspati will not be able to revive the gods. "
Jalandhar said - "But in this way we will have to take a large part of our army towards Dronagiri mountain and here the war is going on at a rapid pace."
Shukracharya said - "If you immerse Dronagiri mountain in the ocean". Then this problem will solve.
On hearing Shukracharya, Jalandhar left Amravati and went to Mount Dronagiri and with his divine arrows dipped it in the sea.  This caused the gods to stop getting Sanjeevani Booti.  Panic spread among the gods. Nervous Indra approached Acharya Brihaspati.  Said - "Our brave soldiers are getting a large number of casualties Acharya!  what will happen now?  In this way all the gods will be destroyed. "
Acharya Brihaspati said - “Follow my advice, Devendra!  Stop this war immediately and run away with your army and save your life.  Jalandhar is born with the glory of Lord Shiva.  He has immense power of Lord Shiva.  You save your life, later some solution will come out to kill Jalandhar. "
Following the advice of Acharya Brihaspati, the gods left the battle and escaped and hid themselves in the shrines of Mount Meru.  The army of demons chased them, but the gods reached the mountain caves and became invisible. After exhausted, the army of the demons returned.  Jalandhar destroyed all the Amravati and sat on the throne of Indra himself.  Indra descended from the cave of Mount Meru and reached Lord Vishnu with his companions.
He prayed to Lord Vishnu - "Protect God!  Jalandhar has destroyed all Amravati.  Thousands of gods have been killed, I myself have come here to save my life.
Lord Vishnu assured Indra and said - "Don't panic, Surraj!  I go to your aid myself.  Jalandhar will not be able to survive for long.
Then Lord Vishnu went to Amravati.  As soon as Lord Vishnu reached there, there was a new energy in the gods.  They started attacking the enemy army.  Jalandhar came in front of Vishnu with great speed.  Whatever weapons and arms Vishnu used on him, Jalandhar would immediately make them resultless.  Finally, Vishnu gave up.  Said - "You are really brave Jalandhar!"  You have also made so many of my weapons useless.  Now stop this war. "
Jalandhar said - "This war can now be stopped on one condition only God.  If you accept my hospitality on my islands including my sister Lakshmi. "
Vishnu accepted the condition of Jalandhar.  The war came to an end on Jalandhar's orders.  Lord Vishnu reached Sagar islands including Lakshmi.  Jalandhar brought all the wealth of Amravati to his capital and started serving Lord Vishnu with great love.
One day Devarshi Narada visited his assembly.  Jalandhar welcomed him.  Narada ji said - "Demon king!  At this time all the opulence is available to you.  But one thing is lacking. "
Jalandhar said - "Lacking, what is lacking, Devarshi!  I have everything. "
Narada said - "There is a lack of such a beauty, which despite being beautiful, is always full of virtues."  Though your wife Vrinda herself is also very beautiful, but there is something more about Shiva's wife Parvati. "
Jalandhar said - "If it is so, I will definitely make Parvati my wife.  Today I order my army to attack Kailash. "
Weicked Jalandhar attacked on Mount Kailash with his army.  Fierce war broke out between his army and Shiva's gana.  At last, Shiva's gana escaped from the battlefield.  Lord Shiva was forced to go to the battle ground.  In the presence of his lord, the enthusiasm of the Shiva's gana increased.  They rapidly attacked on the demon's army at a rapid speed and started killing them.  Shiva stood in front of Jalandhar.  A fierce war broke out in both.
["Then Lord Vishnu took the form of Jalandhar and reached Vrinda.  Vrinda thought that Jalandhar had come to him.  She began to treat Lord Vishnu like as her husband .  Due to which her wife's dharma  broke and Shiva succeeded in killing Jalandhar on Kailash.  Vrinda committed self-immolation to embrace due to the breakdown of her Satitava(dignity).  As her body was consumed, the Tulsi plant grew at that place.  That is, Tulsi is the form of Vrinda which is very dear to Lord Vishnu".]
On the other hand, Lord Vishnu was creating his own maya.  Jalandhar's wife Vrinda was a great virtuous woman.  Vishnu disguised as Jalandhar and went to his room.  He embraced Vrinda.  But Vrinda realizes that this person took form as her husband is not her husband.  So loudly said - "Who are you?"
Vishnu appeared in his real form and laughingly said - "I am very sorry Vrinda!  But it was necessary to do so.  Your husband was invincible because of you.  Now Lord Shiva will have no problem in killing him. "
Vrinda said while crying - "Why have you betrayed me like this, Lord!  My husband did not leave any lacking in your hospitality. "
Lord Vishnu while blessing her said - “You are truly a venerated woman Vrinda!  But every terror ends one day.  The pot of your husband's sins is full.  Its end time has come to a close.  I give you a boon that from today onwards you will be worshiped in the whole world.  Women will worship you. "
Vrinda, burning in the fire of repentance, jumped into the fire and was consumed on sight.  The glow of her body came out and entered Parvati's body.  Gods shower flowers.
Jalandhar's intensity decreased as Vrinda was consumed in the fire.  Lord Shiva cut his head with his trident.  As soon as Jalandhar died, his glory, which he was invincible till today, entered Shiva's body.  The demon army fled in panic.
The Gods praised and worshiped to lord Shiva.  Indra regained his throne and after some time, peace and tranquility spread everywhere.

Narada-Character: 'Devarshi', who inspires towards the path of Moksha.

Narada-Character: 'Devarshi', who inspires towards the path of Moksha.

Who does not know Devarshi Narada!
But do you know the secret of Narada Muni's birth and his various births?
His glory can be understood in such a way that in Dwapar Yogiraj Shri Krishna tells Narada in the Devarshis his own glory.  Apart from this, there is definitely a mention of Narada somewhere in the scriptures of Vedic literature, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Purana etc.
Let us go to the story of Devarshi Narada, who wanders freely in the universe:

When Parampita Brahma gave a 'curse' to Narada.

According to the statements mentioned in Brahmavaivarta Purana, Devarshi Narada is the Manasaputra of Parampita Brahma.  It is said to he has originated from the gorge of Brahma.
It is said that when Brahma, the creator of the universe, ordered Narada to go to earth for the work of creation, Narada did not obey him.
The reason was that Naradji considered subject-enjoyment to be a major obstacle in god-hymn and in his attainment.  According to him, indulging in service of God was like nectar and subject -enjoyment was like poison.
However, Brahma cursed seeing his disobedience.
As a result of this curse, along with the loss of knowledge of Narada Muni, he was to gain Gandharvayoni, in which he would be subjugated by sex.
Naradji became unhappy after getting the unprovoked curse and prayed to his father and said, 'How is it fair to curse the bright son?'
Nevertheless, Brahma must have such a blessing on him that 'Whatever I will born in the yoni, there should never leave me devotion to God.
Unhappy with his father, Narada Muni also cursed Brahma and said -
"O Parampita!  You have cursed me without offense, so I also curse you that you will not be worshiped in the world for three kalpas and your mantras, stotra, kavavha etc. will be disappeared. "
After the curse of both father and sons, the sequel of this story comes in the context of Narada's various births.

Story of various births of Narada

Narada was born in the Gandharva yoni as a result of his father's curse.
Then his name was Upbaharna and he was as beautiful as Kamadeva.  He was also very proud of his form.  It is said that once the deity and Gandharva came to Brahmaji's assembly to make God-sankirtana.  Upbaharna also went there with his wives.  In the Bhagavad bhajan also, the Upbarahan was behaving in a lustful manner due to the effect of the curse.  Seeing this, Brahmaji cursed Narada (Upbaharna) to be a Shudra.
The story begins from the second birth of Narada Muni.
After this, Naradji was born into a Shudra family.  Coincidentally, after birth, his father was died, while his mother used to work as a maid of a devout Brahmin.
In this birth, Naradji was a virtuous, sober and serious child.  It is said that when Naradji was only 5 years old, then one day some sages came to the village for Chaturmasya.  At such a time, Narad Muni used to serve the Mahatmas with a lot of heart and was equally engrossed in listening to the Bhagwat kathas.
In this way, all the defects of child Narada's heart were removed due to satsang and his mind became pure.  When the sages started going after the end of the Chaturmasya, seeing the humility of Dasiputra (Narada), they gave knowledge of chanting the name of God and meditation of the form of the Supreme Father(God). '
His mother later died of a snake bite.
Then, at the age of five years, Narada Muni proceeded towards the north depending on God.  While walking, the senses became relaxed, then under a peepal tree, he sat in a posture and meditated on God.  It is said that as a result of devotion, God suddenly appeared in his heart.
After that, as a child, Naradji tried to meditate again and again to get a glimpse of God, but he did not see him again.
But through an Akashvani, his mind remained in the Lord even later and one after the other and then he got freedom from the fifth mortal body too.
According to the stories, at the end of Kalpa, when Lord Vishnu was resting in the Kshirasagar, at the same time, Brahmaji started entering with the entire universe for sleep in his heart.  Just then Narada entered Brahma's heart with his breath.
After Brahmaji arose after Sahasra Chaturyuga and he started creating the universe, Naradji along with other sages from his senses emerged as Brahmaji's manasaputra and by the grace of God, Narayan-Narayan keep  singing while playing the Veena with this unbroken celibacy.

Narada Muni's compositions

All the compositions composed by Devarshi Narada guide the devotees in this universe.  In this, what is said in Srimad Bhagwat in relation to 'Naradpancharat', its importance is clear -
In the creation, Lord Vishnu took the third incarnation as the Devarhi Narada and preached Sattvata-tantra (Narada-Pancharatra).  In this book, there is a detailed description of how to get rid of Karmabandhan.
In addition there is a Upanishad by the name of Naradji, called ‘Naradparivrajakopanishad’, which is believed to be associated with the Atharvaveda.  Apart from this, if we talk about Narada's compositions, then in the Shantiparva of Mahabharata, Shukdevji has been taught spiritualism by Naradji.
Later it was known as 'Naradgita'.  Along with this, 'Narada-Smriti' and 'Narada Shiksha' scriptures composed by Narada are also very popular.
Without the discussion of Naradpuran, talk of Narad Ji's compositions will be incomplete.  This Purana is also known as an Encyclopaedia (Encyclopedia).
Since Devarshi Narada has been the guru of Ved Vyasa, Maharishi Valmiki etc., it can also be said that by the grace of Munivara Narada, specific texts like Ramayana and Srimad Bhagwat have been attained to the world.

… … Whom Devarshi Narada showed the path of ‘Moksha'.

In this context, it would be appropriate to mention an interesting reference.  Once Maharishi Ved Vyas got very sad with Narada Muni and said, 'O Muniver!  I have described the essence of the four Vedas in the Mahabharata-text, a compilation of Puranas.  Why am I not getting satisfaction even after doing so much? '
Devarshi Narada while addressing Vyasa ji, said that - 'You have not sung the glory of God in your text.  Narada Muni further added that "that knowledge is incomplete in which the sacred glory of Narayana is not described."
Then Maharishi Veda Vyasji composed Bhagwat Samhita with the leela of God.
Narada ji's leela is not even here, but behind the devotion of the brave child Prahlada was the confidence generated by Narada Muni.  When Dhruv was going to the forest, hurt by the bitter word of step mother, Naradji gave 'Vasudev Mantra' to him.
All such examples are present in the universe, from which it is known that Narada Muni led the way to many  people and led many to the path of devotion.
why Narada Muni does not stay anywhere?
There is an interesting story behind it.
Once Daksha Prajapati produced ten thousand sons named 'Hariyashv', he also ordered them to expand the universe.  Meanwhile, by force, Devarshi Narada taught spiritual lessons to those sons and in this way they became disgusted.
Due to this, Daksha Prajapati was very sad, but he did not give up and reproduced a thousand sons named 'Shabalaksha'.
Even where Naradji was also interested,  again he also turned 'Shabalakshas' towards the feet of God.  This time Daksha Prajapati became angry and cursed Narada that 'you will not be able to stay in one place for much longer'.
Apparently, due to this reason, Narada Muni does not stay in one place.
You will be surprised to know that arrogance had also taken place in Narada Muni, who was so great ascetic and steeped in piety.  It sounds strange to hear, but the stories that say… say so.

Story related to Narada's ego will be published on this blog in a day or two.

Dead child resurrected by the grace of Lord Shiva: The glory of the Shwet Madhav shrine.

Dead child resurrected by the grace of Lord Shiva: The glory of the Shwet Madhav shrine.

Once the sages-saints united and said to Lord Brahma - Lord!  You ever said that you will tell the whole story of Shwetamadhav.  Let us tell that story today, we all are very curious about who founded the Shwet Madhav Shrine.
Brahma said - In the Satyuga there was a powerful king named Shwet.  He was a very wise, brave, truth-loving and compassionate care taker of subject.  People used to lived for ten thousand years under his rule.  At least no one died in childhood.
The rule of King Shwet continued in the same way that an event occurred after many years.  Righteous Rishi Kapal Gautham used to live in the reign of King Shwet.  He had a beautiful son.
This beautiful little son of Kapal Gautam passed away before the tooth came out.  This was unthinkable in the rule of king Shwet.  So sage Kapal reached the court of Gautam Raja with him on his lap.
When the king saw Rishi Kumar, he could not believe that, he thought that child had either slept or was unconscious.  When it was found out that it had passed, he prayed for his to survive.
Seeing the no effect of the prayer, the king said - If I could not able to bring this child who has gone to Yamlok to the earth within seven days, then I will jump on the burning pyre.
Saying this, the king chanted Shiva mantra by worshiping Mahadev Ji with one lakh Nilkamal(Blue lotus).  Lord Shiva appeared with Parvati and respected the devotion of the king and said - O 'Rajan!  I am very happy with you.
On hearing this words of Mahadev Ji, King Shwet looked towards him.  Bhasma on body, wearing baaghamber on waist, adorned the moon on the forehead, the king bowed on the earth as soon as he saw Lord Shiva with eyes.
'God!  If you are happy with me, if you have mercy on me, then this Brahmin-boy lying in the control of Kaal(death) should come back alive again.  I have made this pledge.  Take care of my words, Lord.
Hey Mahesh!  You give him full life and whatever age it is, he should complete it well, just do it, Lord.  Mahadev ji was very happy to hear this king Shwet thing.
He commanded Kaal, who gave fear to all the creatures , and Kaal made that child alive .  When the child was weeping, Mahadeva became disappeared with Parvati Devi.
After this grace of Lord Shiva, King Shwet ruled with ease for thousands of years and then, when he became old, after considering the worldly dharma and Vedic rules, left everything and worshiped Lord Keshav.
King Shwet went to the Purushottam region of the South Sea and built a beautiful temple near the temple of Jagannathji there and revered the statue of Lord Shwetamadhava made of white stone in it.
After the installation and worshiping of the idol, he gave a lot of donations to Brahmins, poors, orphans and ascetics and offered obeisance in front of Lord Madhava and chanted and worshiped the Mantra by remaining silent and without food for one month.
Jagadguru Srihari came in front of the king along with all the gods on praising King Shwet in this way.  God said - 'Rajan!  Your intelligence is very good.  You think for the people, I am happy, ask for some good boon.
Hearing the word of God, Maharaj Shwet said - 'God!  If I am your devotee, then give me this wonderful boon that I should only get the imperishable Vaikunthadham above Brahmaloka.  May your wish be fulfilled by your grace.
Lord Narayana said - Rajendra!  You will go to my world by crossing the whole world.  The fame that you have received here will spread in all the three worlds.  I will always stay here.  This pilgrimage will be called Shwetgangaes by deity and demon etc. .
Vishnu ji said, who will sprinkle water of Shwetganges from the front of Kush, he will go to heaven.  One who will visit and pay respect to the idol named Shvetamadhav installed here, he will attain the ultimate post after death.

Mandodari told Hanuman ji the secret of Ravana's death.

Mandodari told Hanuman ji the secret of Ravana's death

The present time is becoming so amazing.  People have started quarreling over small things and nowadays a new news is published in the newspapers which people call as "Road Rage".

What a wonderful activity that someone's car touched your car and you are in anger, if any overtook your car, then you turn in anger and a quarrel begins.  We also forget that our parents or wife and children are waiting at home.  What will happen to them if something untoward happens?  What will happen to their expectations?

Competition is good, but what is there that can kill someone.  It is only natural to feel angry, but what if the family suffers from it?  Competition also takes place among devotees but in a healthy form.  The purpose of the devotee is to serve God and please him. While serving God, gradually his mind becomes so clean that it becomes his nature to encourage others.  Jealousy is not visible at all.  Perhaps this is why our elders used to tell us that son do everything but also worship God because he knew that this will make our mind clean and at least we will not quarrel with anyone and we have a sense of respect to others and we will not be jealous by someone's progress.

When Lord Sri Rama went to Lanka to take Sita ji, Ravana sent his relatives and sons to battle, but the war between Rama and Ravana continued from Tritiya of Ashwin Shukla Paksha till Dashami Tithi.  For a total of thirty-two days, there was a war between Rama and Ravana, Ravana was knowledgeable as well as very powerful.  It was very difficult to kill him.

The world knows that Vibhishan ji told Lord Shri Ramchandra ji that Ravana would die if he shot an arrow in Ravana's navel. God knows to everything , did he not know that Ravana would die by hitting with an arrow in Ravana's navel?  He knew, but the lover of devotees despised his honor in order to increase the value of the devotee.

But Vibhishan told Prabhu Shriram that Ravana could be killed only when his navel was hit.  Also, Vibhishana had also told about a special arrow.  With which Ravana could be killed.  Without this it was impossible to kill Ravana.

Vibhishana gave the solution to kill Ravana, Ram Bhakta Hanuman ji allowed Rama devotee Vibhishan to take credit for this, while Ravana's slaughter is at the root of Shree Hanuman. Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Vibhishana did hard penance to please Brahma. When Brahma ji appeared and everyone asked for his boon.  Ravana asked that he be immortal.

Brahma Ji said, "To give immortality is not to possible of his power."

On Ravan's request again, Brahma Ji gave an arrow to Ravana and said that take this arrow and I can do so much that till this arrow is not hit in your navel then you will not end.  Ravana took that arrow and got it placed inside the pillar just in front of his royal throne inside his palace.

In the battle, when Lord Shri Ramchandra separates the head of Ravana from his body, then Ravan's head falls on the ground, but in a few moments he again gets back to his place.  Many times when this happened, Vibhishan gave the reason for Ravana not to die.  Hearing everything, Hanuman Ji said that you should not worry and tell where the arrow is.  Vibhishan ji said that I do not know this but only Ravan or his wife Mandodari know where this arrow is.

What was it then? Hanuman Ji took the form of a Brahmin after taking orders from God and started touring the famous places of Lanka as a great astrologer.  In the form of Jyotishacharya, Hanuman Ji used to tell the future of the people of Lanka wherever he went, and also tell the glory of Ravana to everyone.

After several days, the news reached the ears of Mandodari that a Brahmin is telling amazing things about Ravana.  Mandodari was also anxious and called the Brahmin.  The Brahmin told wonderful things about Ravana also say another thing that Mandodari did not know.  In many cases, he also told about the penance of Ravana and the boon of Brahma ji and some started speaking in such a way that the arrow is not safe.  Mandodari came to his notice and said to him, making sure that the arrow is safe.

The Brahmin said that I also know that the arrow is safe in every way and only Ravan and you know about it, but I am afraid that if you will let anyone in your female society fellow or any spy of those forest dwellers show that arrow. Impressed by Hanuman's eloquence, he left Mandodari's mouth that O Brahmandev!  You can be absolutely sure that any detective can not find or see that arrow because that arrow is very safely placed in the pillar in front of his throne in the royal palace.

On hearing this, Hanuman ji came into the real form and with a punch with the slogan of "Jai Shri Ram", he broke the pillar and took away the arrow from it and gave it to Lord Shri Ramchandra Ji and after then Ravana's slaughter was possible .

Shri Ram  attacked Ravana's navel with the same arrow.  In this way Ravana came to an end.  If this mystery could not be known, Ravana would not have ended despite the fact that Vibhishan had told Shri Rama that Ravana's death was in the navel. Despite this, the truth is that Mandodari, even though mistakenly, had given such information about Ravana to the opposing side which should not have been given.  … And if this information had not been made public, Ravana would never have been killed, Sita ji would never have been released and Sri Rama's vow to kill Ravana would never have been fulfilled.

Lord Ayyappa is unique son of the father Lord Shiva and mother Lord Vishnu.

Lord Ayyappa is unique son of the father Lord Shiva and mother Lord Vishnu.

Our tradition is story-oriented.  Many stories for the same event will be found in the Puranas.  Then there is a difference in the stories in the north-south as well.  We north Indians do not know much about Lord Ayyappa of Sabarimala.  According to the legend Lord Ayyappa is believed to be son of father Lord Shiva and mother Lord Vishnu.

If we look at the mythology of Lord Shiva and Vishnu, both the gods created many leelas for human welfare.  Lord Vishnu, along with his twenty four avatars, has presented many example for the betterment of human beings.  Lord Shiva, with his meditation, anger and sacrifice, has given us a message to do Satkarma(good deeds) in every form.

But now let's consider who are the children of Shiva and Vishnu?  There are many avatars of Lord Vishnu and he was accompanied by many families and children.  Mahadev  is considered to be the only one family, in which he has two children as Ganesh and Karthikeya.  But this is not the whole truth.  There is also the third child of Shiva, it is worshiped as Lord Ayyappa.

The mystery lies in that Lord Vishnu gave birth to the third child of Shiva.

That is, the child of two men!

So let's know this secret related to the birth of Lord Ayyappa!

Lord Vishnu took Mohini avatar for distribute necter in gods.

In Kalyug it is common for two men to have a relationship.  With the help of science, men have started giving birth to children, but in mythological history, it is surprising to have children of two male deities.  Before you reach a decision and make any unwanted perception, first understand this mystery!

If you have read or heard the mythology, then you will definitely remember about the Samudramanthana( sea churning) between the gods and the asuras.  In the Samudra Manthan, one name is mentioned repeatedly, which has been called Mohini.  In fact, when Amrit(necter) came out of the sea during the churning of the sea, a dispute arose between the gods and the demons about its sharing.

Then Lord Vishnu took the form of Mohini avatar and took the urn of nectar.

Mohini was so beautiful that the focus of the demons was more on the appearance of beauty of Mohini than a pot of nectar.  During this time, deceit happened and Mohini gave to the gods to drink nectar while the demons  getting only simple water.

But Mohini's character is not limited only to the story of Samudramanthan but there is another story ahead of it.

Mahishasura's sister Mahishi received a boon from Lord Brahma.

Actually, a demon named Mahishasura was inhabiting the earth.  Who had crossed all the limits of his ego and tyranny.  Troubled by the atrocities of Mahishasura, the gods prayed to Mother Durga for help.  After this, Goddess Durga killed Mahishasura.

But violence and arrogance did not end with Mahishasura.

Mahishasura's sister Mahishi was deeply saddened by her brother's death.  She was angry with the gods and that is why she started doing intense penance to make herself powerful.  She worshiped Lord Brahma.  Lord Brahma was pleased with this worship done continuously for many years.  Then Mahishi asked to a boon from Lord Brahma for herself immortality.

Lord Brahma said that it is against the laws of creation.  The one who is born is sure to die.  She can decide the condition of her death, but cannot postpone it.  Mahishi found the middle way.

She asked for a boon that I want my slaughter to be done by the son of Shiva and Vishnu.

Lord Brahma accepted her request and gave him a boon.  Mahishi felt that this is never possible.  Since the union of two gods and then children cannot be born.  Due to this arrogance, she created chaos from the earth to the heavens.  Once again, the gods were trap in trouble.

Mohini gave birth to Shiva's son.

This time again all the gods reached the shelter of Lord Shiva.  They said that there is no solution in the boon that Lord Brahma has given to Mahishi.  The offspring cannot be born with the union of two men.  This is why none of us can kill him.  In a way, she has become immortal.

After this, the gods reached Lord Vishnu and requested him to solve this problem.  Although they were realizing that there could be no solution of this boon.

But something else was written in future.

Lord Vishnu sent his avatar Mohini to Kailash.  Lord Shiva recognized him after seeing Mohini.  Mohini proposed love to Shiva.  Since Shiva was a yogi and Kama lust never got involved in his weaknesses, he declined her offer to meet Mohini.  But Lord Shiva kept the honor of Mohini's love.

Shiva gave his semen to Mohini, which is called Parda(mercury).  Shiva and Mohini got together without making a relationship like this.  Since Mohini was an incarnation of Vishnu, it is also called the union of Shiva and Vishnu. Due the influence of Parda ,Mohini had pregnant and she gave birth to a son.

In the Puranas, this son was known as 'Harihar' or 'Manikanta'.  Lord Ayyappa, who is worshiped in South India,he is the 'Harihar'.  Ayyappa is the child of Shiva and Vishnu, so he possessed the powers of both the gods.  Later, he killed Mahishi and freed the gods from her atrocities.

Lord Ayyappa is also known by the name 'Hariharan'. Hari means Lord Vishnu and Harn means Shiva. The sons of Hari and Harn i.e. Hariharan. They are also called Manikandan.  Here Mani(gem) means gold bell and Kandan means neck. That is, the God who holds the gem in the neck.  He is called by this name because his parents Shiva and Mohini tied a gold bell around his neck.

According to the mythology, after the birth of  Ayyappa, Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu who became Mohini , they tied a golden necklace around his neck and placed him on the banks of the Pampa River.  Then Rajasekhara, the king of Pandalam, adopted Ayyappa and raised him like a son.  King Rajasekhar was childless.  Presently, Pandalam is a city in the state of Kerala.

Shortly after Ayyappa started living in the king's palace, the queen also gave birth to a son.  The queen's behavior changed for adopted son Ayyappa after having a son.  Raja Rajasekhar understood his queen's mistreatment against Ayyappa.  For this he apologized to Ayyappa.

The queen feared that the king loved his adopted son very much, it may possible that he give his throne to him.  In such a situation, the queen pretended to be sick and sent information to Ayyappa that she could be cured by drinking the tigress's milk.  Her plan was to get Ayyappa killed by a demonic Mahishi living in the forest.  Ayyappa went to the forest to take the tigress's milk for his mother.  When the Mahishi tried to kill him but there Ayyappa killed Mahishi and bring the tigress's milk,  but he also  brought the tigress for the mother while riding the tigress.

When Ayyappa came out of the forest riding the tigress, all the people of the state were surprised to see him alive and riding the tigress.  All cheered Ayyappa.  Then the king understood that his son is not an ordinary man.  At this he apologizes to Ayyappa for the queen's bad behavior.  Seeing his father upset, Ayyappa decided to leave the kingdom and went to heaven, asking the father to build a temple in Sabari (hills).  His purpose behind building the temple was to leave own memories on earth at the father's request.

According to the wishes of the son, Raja Rajasekhar built the temple in Sabari.  After the construction of the temple, Lord Parashuram built the idol of Ayyappa and installed it in the temple on the holy festival of Makar Sankranti.  In this way the temple of Lord Ayyappa was built and since then this form of God is being worshiped and the temple is the center of the faith of the devotees.

Near the temple, a flame appears in the dark night of Makar Sankranti.  Crores of devotees from all over the world come every year to see this flame.  It is said that whenever this flame is seen, noise is heard along with it.  Devotees believe that this is a divine flame and God ignite it himself.  It has been named Makar Jyoti.

This legend is quite popular in South India, while there is no mention of Lord Ayyappa in North and East India.  There is a Sabarimala temple in the state of Kerala in South India.  It is believed that Ayyappa resides here.  Apart from this, temples of Lord Ayyappa are found in almost every street in the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka.

Since the birth of Lord Ayyappa, it is clear that in Hindu mythology, the story of meeting of two gods is described.

So don't be surprised the next time you hear the name of Lord Ayyappa from the mouth of a South Indian!

When Lord Vishnu was defeated by the demons

When Lord Vishnu was defeated by the demons.

According to mythological scriptures, there was a ferocious demon named Sridama who used to harass the gods and was a disciple of Shukracharya from childhood.  He had divine powers and body like Vajra by grace of Guru , he took away the heavens from the gods with his strength and might and drove them out of heaven, all the gods became unhappy and reached the shelter of Brahma Dev.  Brahma Dev went with them to Narayan.
Narayan asked the reason for coming to the  Baikunth to all, when Brahma told him all about Sridama Asura, hearing this, Vishnu said, "O Gods!  Don't you worry, soon the end of Sridama is near, you will soon get rid of his atrocities. "
Shri Vishnu gave promise and send off to all gods .  When Sridama came to know that all gods had gone to seek help from Vishnu, he was very angry and he planned to steal Narayana's Shreevatsa.  When Sri Vishnu came to know that Sridama was planning to steal his Sri Vatsa, then Sri Vishnu challenged Sridama to battle then there was a fierce battle between Sridama and Vishnu.  Shri Vishnu used the divine weapons on Sridama but all of them remained resultless.  Vishnu understood that Sridama's body became like Vajra by the grace of Shukracharya.
Therefore, Sridama could not be killed with any arms or weapon.  In this war, Sridama was stronger than shrivishnu.  Lord Vishnu had to leave the battle and Sridama captive Vishnu's wife Mahalakshmi.
worried due to Mahalakshmi, Vishnu reached Kailash and established "Harishwarling" there.  Narayan reached Badri area and took 1000 Brahmakamal from there and started worshiping Shiva.  Narayan used to offer each Brahmakamal with a name of Shiva.  In this way Narayan worshiped Shiva with 999 Brahmakamalas and chanted the name Shiva and composed "Shivasahastranam Stotra".
When Vishnu started offering the last Brahmakamal, he saw that a Brahmakamal has disappeared.  Vishnu could not leave worship and go to bring Brahmakamal.  Then Shri Vishnu remembered that the gods called him as Kamalnayan.  Vishnu took his right eye and offered it to Harishwarling.  Parameshwara Shiva immediately appeared there.
Parmeshwar Shiva was pleased with Lord Vishnu and told him to ask for the desired boon .  Vishnu heard the words of Shiva and told that the whole world is terrorized by the terror of Sridama, the gods have been expelled from heaven and Sridama has also kidnapped Lakshmi.
Due to the grace of  Shiva devotee Guru Shukracharya, Sridama is fearless and all weapon does not affect his body such as Vajra.  Therefore, you provide me with the divine weapon from which powerful demon Jalandhar was killed.  At that time, the Mahatejasvi Sudarshan Chakra appeared with the right arm of Shiva.  With this Sudarshan Chakra, Lord Vishnu destroyed Sridama and freed Mahalakshmi from Sridama and liberated the gods from fear of the demon Sridama.

Know that 6 Sri Krishna's brothers who were killed by Kansa just after being born ... !!!

Know that 6 Sri Krishna's brothers who were killed by Kansa just after being born ... !!!

Mythological stories are proof that whenever iniquity has increased on the earth, God (Bhagwaan) has incarnated to eliminate it.  Lord Shri Krishna is thats great super hero, who taught the whole world to stand against unrighteousness and injustice.

Today we are telling you about those 6 babies who were killed before the birth of Kanha.
It was the time of Dwapar yuga. At that time the kingdom of Mathura was in the hands of the Kans. Kans was an autocratic and stone heart king.  By the way, he loved his sister Devki but since he came to know that Devaki's eighth son will be the reason for his death. Since then, he kept her in the dungeon. Due to this desire not to take any kind of risk, Kansa also killed the first 6 babies of Devki.

Who were those 6 babies.

In Brahmaloka, there used to be six gods named Smara, Udrith, Parishvang, Patang, Kshudramrit and Ghrini. These were the eligible of Brahma's grace. Brahma's grace and affection always showered on them. He underminds the trivial matters and mistakes of these six and ignored them. For this reason, pride started to grow slowly due to these success in all six.
They started insulting anybody and also they understand anybody is little in front of them. One day in such a manner, they even disrespected Brahma in talk. Brahma was enraged by this and cursed them that you all will be born on earth in the demon dynansty. This led to the wisdom of those six and they repeatedly apologized to Brahma.  Brahma ji also felt pity on them and he said that you all will have to take birth in the demon dynansty but your previous memory will remain.
In time, all six of them were born in the house of demon king Hiranyakashyap. In that birth, they did not do any wrong thing due to knowledge of previous birth.  They spent all these time doing austerities of Brahma to please him.  Brahma, pleased with it, asked them to ask for the boon.
With the effect of the demon's nature , they asked for the same boon that our deaths should not happen at the hands of the gods, nor from the Gandharvas, nor should we die from animal and disease!  Brahmaji disappeared after by saying thaastu(as you wish).
Here Hiranyakashyap was angry with his sons for worshiping the gods.  As soon as he realized this, he cursed the six that your death will not be at the hands of a deity or a Gandharva, but all they will definitely killed by a demon's hand. Under this curse, they were born from Devaki's womb and were killed at the hands of Kans and found the place in the Sutal loka.
After the Kans slaughter, when Shri Krishna (Krishna) went to the mother Devki. Mother desired to see the 6 babies who were killed on birth. Prabhu fulfilled the mother's wish by bringing those 6 infants from the sutal lok.  By the propinquity and grace of Prabhu, they again found the place in Devaloka.
