Reconciliation of Lord shiva

Shiva acts as a destroyer, hence he is also called a destroyer.
 Lord Shiva is also the God of the Gods, hence he has been called Mahesh i.e. Maha + Ish.
 When Lord Shiva became pleased with the slight devotion of his devotees, he started to be called Bholenath.
 He was also called as Rudra due to Lord Shiva's raudra form. The first mention of the name Rudra of Lord Shiva is found in the Rigveda. Three hymns have been dedicated to Shiva in the Rigveda. Bholenath is the conscience of a person's consciousness. Goddess Parvati of Bholenath is also called Shakti. His sons are Karthikeya and Ganesh.

 In Shiva, there is a reconciliation of conflicting emotions. There is a moon on the forehead of Shiva, on the other hand Mahavishdhar Snake is also a necklace of his neck. Despite Ardhanarishwar, they defeat Kamdev . Despite being a householder, the crematoriums are an ascetic. Despite being gentle, Ashutosh, he is a fierce Rudra. The Shiva family is also not untouched by this. Ghosts, Nandi, Leo, Snake, Peacock and Mooshak (mouse) are all seen in their family. They themselves symbolize the great idea of ​​co-existence without duality.

शिव भगवान संहार करने का कार्य करते हैं, इस कारण उन्हें संहारक भी कहा जाता है.
भगवान शिव देवताओं के भी देव है इसीलिए उन्हें महेश अर्थात महा+ईश कहा गया है.
भगवान शिव अपने भक्तों की जरा सी भक्ति से ही प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं तो भोलेनाथ कहलाने लगे.
भगवान शिव के रौद्र रुप के कारण उन्हें रुद्र के नाम से भी पुकारा जाने लगा. भगवान शिव के रुद्र नाम का सबसे पहले उल्लेख ऋग्वेद में मिलता है. ऋग्वेद में शिवजी को तीन भजन समर्पित किए गए हैं. भोलेनाथ व्यक्ति की चेतना के अन्तर्यामी हैं. भोलेनाथ की अर्धांगिनी पार्वती है इन्हें शक्ति भी कहा गया है. इनके पुत्र कार्तिकेय और गणेश है.

शिव में परस्पर विरोधी भावों का सामंजस्य देखने को मिलता है। शिव के मस्तक पर एक ओर चंद्र है, तो दूसरी ओर महाविषधर सर्प भी उनके गले का हार है। वे अर्धनारीश्वर होते हुए भी कामजित हैं। गृहस्थ होते हुए भी श्मशानवासी, वीतरागी हैं। सौम्य, आशुतोष होते हुए भी भयंकर रुद्र हैं। शिव परिवार भी इससे अछूता नहीं हैं। उनके परिवार में भूत-प्रेत, नंदी, सिंह, सर्प, मयूर व मूषक सभी का समभाव देखने को मिलता है। वे स्वयं द्वंद्वों से रहित सह-अस्तित्व के महान विचार का परिचायक हैं।
